Going into the final race of season 25, Vance was only Five points behind Leif for the Championship. Kevin being eighteen points back from the championship hoped they both decided to to skip the race and go to the Corning Museum of Glass instead… but they showed up.

The race was held on iRacing’s week 13 due to Turkey day in the US last Thursday. This meant a lot of new faces showed up to play with the rumblestrippers. This had some nervous being the final race of the season.

When the qualifying dust settled Kevin Binkley was on the pole followed by Leif Peterson, Fernando Cardoso, Vance Bao, and Dario Cangialosi rounding out the top Five.

Eighteen racers took the green flag, tossing a mass of cars into turn one. Vance, Dario, and Richard took it three wide. Dario made slight contact with Vance pushing him wide and setting him back to P5.

Vance was closely monitoring Leif’s position and working out the points. Leif gave up P2 to Fernando into turn one, taking it cautiously knowing he just had to stay in front of Vance to win the title. The rest of lap one was nice and clean.

On lap four, Dario overtook Leif into turn one to take P3. Now Leif and Vance were in range to battle it out.

Lap five saw Fernando in P2 take a slow spin into the boot collecting Dario in P3. Dario was having trouble getting back on track, ended up stalled in the racing line and eventually hit by Hayden.

Kevin pitted on lap fourteen with a five second lead over Leif and Vance. Both Vance and Leif were able to go one more lap before they entered the pits for fuel. Kevin (being Kevin) took way too much fuel cutting his lead down to two seconds. He was still able to hold off Leif for the race win and Vance took home P3.

That secured Leif to take home the season 25 championship. Congratulations Leif!!!
